• VPN connection details: selected region, connection state, session duration, traffic statistics
• Technical configuration data: gateway host, port, session identifiers for connection establishment
• Diagnostic information for troubleshooting crashes and connection failures
• Voluntary support communications: feedback emails and support requests

Our app does not require account registration. This release does not include advertising, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs. Future versions may enable such features with appropriate disclosures.

VPN and Network Data

ChimeraVPN routes your network traffic through encrypted VPN tunnels to provide secure connectivity.

The app itself does not read or store the content of your network traffic. However, traffic must pass through our VPN infrastructure, which may process connection metadata for routing, authentication, and security purposes.

To verify tunnel connectivity and display your exit IP address, we may contact third-party IP lookup services. These services may receive your VPN exit IP and standard request metadata.

How We Use Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide, maintain, and secure the VPN service
• Troubleshoot connection issues and improve service stability
• Store your preferred region and session preferences for consistent reconnection

Permissions

The app requests minimal system permissions necessary for core VPN functionality:

• VPN permission to create and manage secure tunnels

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data when legally required or to provide the service:

• VPN infrastructure providers receive connection credentials and routing data
• IP lookup services receive technical requests for tunnel verification

This release does not integrate advertising, analytics, or crash reporting SDKs. However, we may interact with third-party services for core operations:

Data Retention

Your region selection and session preferences are stored locally on your device until you clear app data or uninstall. Temporary connection state exists only during active sessions.
